How to set up the player?

We recommend using Intel NUC as a player, since it has been battle-tested by us and our clients.

TL;DR:

  1. Get an Intel NUC (nuc7cjyhn2 or better), RAM and SSD.

  2. Download THIS IMAGE

  3. Flash onto >=32GB SSD or flash drive (eg. using Balena Etcher)

  4. Put the NUC together (insert >= 4GB RAM and the SSD/flash stick)

  5. Enter the BIOS (press F2 or DEL) and enable Turn On After Power Failure.

  6. After couple restarts, three words will appear on the screen, type those to Bohemica Signage Dashboard
